Autumn Term at ABLE

Added: Sep 3, 01:59 PM

As we get ready to start a new term of activities we are busy organising timetables and contacting groups and trainers to deliver our programmes.

We had a lovely finale to the summer last week with a barbecue attended by young people and their families where they spent a sunny morning drumming outside and learning African rhythms before a healthy fresh lunch cooked from our own produce and a fast and furious scavenger hunt afterwards to help it all go down!

We would like to maintain the holiday activities as part of our year round provision so keep an eye out for upcoming events as well as a launch for the BMX Pump Track and a ‘Sponsored Spot’ to start tracking the biodiversity that we have on site.

In the months to come we will be launching some new training programmes covering areas of environmental awareness, aquaculture and horticulture from the basics upwards. We also look forward to welcoming more volunteers onboard and furthering our partnership work with a number of schools, colleges, and local restaurants!
