Fish Week!
In recognition of the Fish Fight series taking place on Channel Four, The ABLE Project will be running a week of activities focusing on the role of what we are trying to achieve as a sustainable, inland fishery.
Fish Week is 13th -19th February.
Sustainable fishing is a subject that's close to ABLE's heart. We are really excited to be working at the cutting edge of this subject; we are working to produce our own fish feed, breaking the cycle of inland fisheries using feeds made from ocean caught fish.
There will be two open day sessions in Fish Week. 13th February 10am-12pm and 16th February 2-4pm. In these sessions visitors will have the chance to take a tour of the site and see for themselves the innovative ways ABLE is tackling sustainable food production.
Activities are available for our regular clients and service users, staff and volunteers and the local community. If you are interested in attending the open days please get in touch to book a place on 01924 339994 send us an email.
