Funky fungi
This time of year is always good for spotting interesting mushrooms and toadstools on site as they spring up through the rich compost on the orchard. We managed to get some beautiful shots this week but unfortunately we aren't fungi experts so we can’t be sure what they are. Answers on a postcard please!?
We also discovered some very late 
blooming poppies on the back of the bike track as we carried out a survey of the trees planted this year. Every season has its own attractions but the colours and changes of autumn are always something to look forward to.
